Iris Valera also known as Valerien Kristensen is on a mission to live life to the fullest.

She dreamed of becoming an ER doctor when she was a child, but never mistake her for a nerd. Her pair of eyeglasses was not meant to intimidate but to correct her poor eyesight. Becoming a fiction author is her idea of retirement when she finally turns 50. 

 

Writing, designing (interior design, graphic design, website design),  and video-editing are only three of her many passions in life. You'd be surprised to know she cooks chicken adobo and sinigang na hipon perfectly, and she loves going to the beach during summer.

 

Iris gets bored easily. It is hardly noticeable but she likes being around people. She hates doing routines. Craving for variety sends her to start a lot of projects all at the same time sometimes. When an idea pops up, she never lets the chance slip away. She takes on challenges as opportunities to grow. But just like any normal human being, Iris can become an emotional wreck when she is dealing with a breakup. Spending time alone on the beach just listening to the sound of waves crashing at her feet does it.

Storytelling can be her expertise but her goal of becoming a screenwriter or a filmmaker, or even a National Geographic explorer someday is still out of her reach.
